General terms and conditions:

The basis for long-distance trading with Cornelia Rieger of Sphinx Design are the following
general terms and conditions, valid at the time of ordering.

An online order represents an offer to complete a sales agreement. This doesn’t come into
effect through the automatic reply from the server, but rather with the E-Mail that follows it.
In this Email we confirm receipt of the order and also agree to reserve the ordered artwork
for a period of ten working days. During this timeframe we expect payment in advance
via bank transfer. After receiving payment, the goods will be sent out immediately.

Return policy:

Refund policy

The received goods may be returned within 14 days without giving any reason. The deadline
begins after receiving this policy in text form (e.g. by letter, Fax, E-Mail), but not before
receipt of goods. You may issue a return demand only for packages that cannot be returned
by standard post (e.g. bulky goods). A punctual return of the goods or a punctual request
for a return demand is sufficient to safeguard the deadline. In any case, the return of the
merchandise shall take place at our expense and risk. Goods and return demands must be

Return procedure

If goods are returned in accordance with the above terms and conditions, the performance
of both parties shall be rescinded and any benefits enjoyed by either party surrendered.
We reserve the right to claim compensation in cases where the goods have deteriorated
through further use resulting in goods that cannot be re-issued, or can only be partly
re-issued, or can only be re-issued in an inferior condition.

We also reserve the right to claim compensation if the goods have deteriorated due to
mishandling of the goods, i.e. handling of the goods that goes above and beyond the normal
testing of the product’s function and properties as would be carried out in the usual manner
on shop premises.
Obligations to refund any payments made must be fulfilled within 30 days. This deadline
begins, for you, from the date the goods were returned or a return demand was made.
For us, the deadline begins upon receipt of the returned goods or return demand.

End of the return policy

All prices quoted do not include VAT as VAT is not applicable due to private sale.
Customer data is only acquired and saved for business purposes and will not be given
to any third parties. Should one of these regulations become invalid, it will not affect
the validity of the remaining regulations.
